Overview

Tata Nano Twist is a small hatchback produced by Tata Motors manufactured in India. Looking after the heavy traffic on roads this car was introduced as a small car concept, specifically made for urban rides. Later on, in 2014 Nano made its way into Bangladesh roads with its launch in Dhaka. Tata Nano Twist which is Tata Nano's one of the latest variant has been added with several new aspects in terms of exterior designing part and interior comfort. One of the most striking feature of this variant is its power steering column that eases the efforts of driving by delivering precise response on twisting and turning. Powered by 624cc, in-lined 2-cylinder petrol engine it generates maximum power output of 38 PS between the range of 250 to 5500 revolutions while delivering a peak torque output of about 51Nm between 500 to 4000 rpm. Exceptional mileage count of 25.4 kmpl that it delivers changes its image from being world's cheapest car to a mini, affordable, cost-savvy car.

Nano twist comes as a very modern yet frugal design which is rightly so, with the aim of coming up with the most cost effective four wheel vehicle on road. Besides, chrome styling on front and rear facade almost everything remains same with the earlier variants. But its interiors are quiet spacious despite of its compact dimensions. For fun and entertainment segment, USB, AUX-In, Bluetooth connectivity, AmphiStream music system, CD player and MP3 are provided through which you can play your favorite tunes and connect external devices. For safety aspect, this mini hatchback is designed in crumple zones that protects the passengers sitting inside in case any collision or fatality occurs. 4 meters of minimum turning radius combined with high seating position and large windscreen surface makes it a ideal vehicle to motor in highly congested areas with loaded traffic.

Power

Tata auto company has rolled out this new car by assembling it with the 624cc, in-lined 2-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. The maximum power produced by this engine is 38 PS between the range of 250 to 5500 revolutions while delivering a peak torque output of about 51Nm between 500 to 4000 rpm.

Acceleration & Pickup

Moreover, Tata Nano twist skillfully coupled with this 2-cylinder engine and four forward and one reverse gearbox is able to achieve a top speed of about 105 Kmph which is good for a vehicle with such stature. Talking about the acceleration count, Nano Twist speeds upto 60 kmph from a halt in close to 30 seconds which is not at all impressive but then you cannot expect a Ferrari performance from a 2-cylinder 624 cc engine.

Exterior

Talking about Tata Nano Twist's exterior profile, you will notice that its designing part is little bit different. The chrome treatment applied onto its front bonnet side and rear is entirely separate with added decorative features. The front fascia of the car is more of like a small styling car smiling at onlookers view while crossing by roads. Coming to the comfort and convenience segment of Tata Nano Twist, it may not offer you exceptionally luxurious and deluxe compartment. But, yes it has done justice with the proportion it is designed in and offers maximum productivity out of it. The key comfort features packed in this small vehicle includes remote key less entry, front power windows, a 12V power socket, proficient air conditioner segment with heater, sun visor on driver and passenger side, front and rear seat headrest, average fuel economy display, digital clock, magazine and coin holders on all doors, distance to empty display and several other features. With Tata Nano Twist you get standard cargo volume compartment of 80-litres which on further expansion by folding flat the rear seats becomes 500-litres which is a good count for mini hatchback of this size.
