TATA Motors Raises The Curtain Over The PRIMA Range in Bangladesh
DHAKA: Recently Tata Motors have announced to launch their Prima range of heavy commercial vehicles (CVs) in Bangladesh. The company will colloborate with a local company named Nitol Motors, to introduce PRIMA brand, tipper and cargo segments.
“The launch of the PRIMA range in Bangladesh is an important milestone in Tata Motors' continued expansion in the Bangladesh market and the SAARC region,” Tata Motors Executive Director, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Ravi Pisharody said in a statement. He also added, “As a market leader in Bangladesh, the company is committed to the commercial vehicle industry with the latest global technologies, giving Bangladesh customer competitive business advantages.”
Head, International Business, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, R T Wasan said that the company's partnership with Nitol Motors has grown over the years which would help Tata Motors to become the largest CV brand in Bangladesh.
“The launch of the new generation range of Tata Prima truck will be another step to enchance the range of the product offering and further strengthen the Tata Motor's brand position in Bangladesh.” he added.
India's largest automobile company, Tata Motors has secured a revenue of Rs 2,32,834 crore last year, and they have already launched their prima range in different countries including Kenya, Oman, UAE and Qatar.
